Pilates is a core body strengthening exercise program developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1920's.
Pilates unites the body and mind, creating balance and harmony using specially designed movements which improve strength, posture, flexibility and the overall awareness of the body.
Pilates is a holistic exercise modality which uses your own body as resistance and focuses on stretching and lengthening the muscles and does not create bulk.
Pilates is a low impact form of exercise which can help you build your muscles from the inside-out. Pilates helps you to heighten your sense of awareness about your body as well as increase your mobility.

Friday morning at 9.00am - Open class - pilates for those who want to feel like they have had a workout but like to have instructor help along the way to learn technique and muscle control.
Assessments - full body assessments are available prior to joining any Pilates session. The advantage of an assessment is we can see where you need to do the most work on your body - where you strengths and weaknesses are - in order to get the most from your Pilates sessions. $65 per person. Would love to do Pilates but it difficult to get down onto the floor and back up again? Or maybe your general body shape just doesn't allow for great movement or you are looking for something a bit less strenuous than regular Pilates. Our functional stretching sessions are just the thing for you to get some gentle exercise without having to worry about how you are going to do it. The functional stretching sessions are structured to help improve mobility and range of motion while at the same time taking into account that these aspects of your body are not as good as they could be. It's Pilates for the less active and mobile.
Stretch, Lift & Breathe
Looking for that one fitness session to cover everything? Then Stretch, Lift and Breathe is for you. Short interval exercising covering stretching, small weight lifting, cardio and incorporating Pilates so you really are getting the very best work out in one session.
Thursday mornings at 9am. (circuit style class - minimal instructor help)
Pricing For Fitness Sessions:
$15 per person per session for open group sessions
Personalised Individual One on One sessions are available by appointment - $35 for 1/2hr - $60 for 1hr - sessions are tailored to suit your needs.
Private Group sessions are available, by appointment 2 people - $30 each, (3-6 people) - $20 each - Get a group of friends together to do Pilates, Functional Stretching or Stretch, Lift and Breathe.
