Join me for this fun and interactive workshop where you will create a totally intuitive, one of a kind scrappy cat. (Not a cat person? That's fine, there is also a dog and owl version for you to create.)

Dive into the stash of lace, ribbon, yarn and fabric and see where your intuition takes you.

What personality will yours have? Will they be sweet, sassy, a real scrapper or have a down to earth natural kinda feel?

You don't need to know how to sew or have any artistic ability - let your intuition guide you on a journey of self discovery and wonder as your creation takes on a life of its own.

Skill level: Open to beginners upwards - clear and easy to understand instructions.

You get to take the finished item home with you.

All fabric, materials and equipment supplied for use on the day.

Tea/coffee provided

Denim Upcycling Workshop

Unlock your creativity and explore the many ways you can turn old denim into new, fun things!

This one day workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to spend a fun filled day of creativity and relaxation up-cycling some old denim jeans and creating something new and unique.

Explore your creativity and learn my favourite ways to breathe life into old worn out jeans and make them useful again.

We will discuss

*Breakdown methods

*Uses for various parts of the jeans

*Hand sewing techniques

*Slow stitching

*Machine sewing

The project we will be working on is how to make denim pouches/baskets however you are only limited by your imagination if the planned project doesn't take your fancy.
